3rd Annual Pensacola Pawdi Gras (this does not register you for the parade)

Costume contest is free and we ask everyone who plans to walk a dog in the parade to register them and make the $15 donation that goes directly to the Escambia County Department of Animal Welfare **

The 3rd Annual Pensacola Pawdi Gras block party and dog paw-rade, is hosted by WolfGang Pensacola and presented by Perfect Plain Brewery, Hanto & Clarke, and in part by Visit Pensacola. The 3rd Annual theme is BOW WOW LUAU! This year aims to be even bigger and better than ever!!

Join us on Sunday, January 28th for the largest dog event and dog paw-rade east of New Orleans. The event will take place on a closed down Garden Street between Tarragona and Palafox Streets, where vendors, sponsors, music, food, drinks, and adoptable dogs will line the streets for a fun day that puts your dog as the guest of honor for carnival season. We will even have a dog paw-rade down Palafox Street as well as costume contests!

Pawdi Gras is an event aimed at adding to our amazing line-up of Mardi Gras events in Pensacola as well as supporting our partnered shelters and rescues. The event is free and open to the public, but we ask everyone who plans to walk in the paw-rade to regsiter their dog and make a small donation to our event benefactor, The Escambia County Department of Animal Welfare.

Online registration for the paw-rade is open from November 1st to January 26th and the first 300 dogs to register will receive a swag bag, provided by Union Public House, filled with goodies. The costume contest registration will also be available during these dates. 100% of all donations from the fundraiser and paw-rade registration goes directly to the event benefactor.

We are elated to have The Krewe of Hip Huggers as our official krewe partner again for this year!

We have partnered with Days Inn in downtown Pensacola and they will offer premium pricing and waive the pet fees for anyone coming in from out of town for this event!

Come dressed to impress in your best Mardi Gras or Luau outfits and get in the carnival spirit with us and your 4-legged best friend!

Swag bag early pick-up will be on Friday, January 26th from 6-8pm at Perfect Plain Brewery.
